It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batsmen to possess a record if not provided the chance.

In the end, the consequence of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy being given a platform to produce her newest gem.

"The possibility to go out there and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

By the time she was out her side needed 66 more at run per delivery - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph following success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
